Client work: Chartity, who cares?

Client work: Chartity, who cares?

Posted on 11. Dec, 2009 by Jess in Uncategorized

So being the holiday season, Mint.com and I decided to do some relevant infographics.  This one details the charity situation in the US, who gives, hoe much, where it goes.  Some interesting facts: There are some charities that only give 4 cents of every dollar donated to actual recipients.  4 cents! Those should be shut down.  Also, US charities have revenues of over 1 trillion bucks.  Holy crap, that’s a lot.

Anyways, check this out, and for some extra good karma this year, digg, tweet, and spread this one around!

LOVE this - but a question:

how does the $300 billion donated by Americans jive with the $1.3 trillion US Charities raise? trying to figure out the difference…?

We don’t “give” money to WalMart. We exchange it for goods and services. Just like any other company. Why you targeted that particular company is quite suspicious and it should make anyone visiting this site to take what they see here with a grain of salt along with verification.
