Client Work: The History of Search

Posted on 03. Aug, 2010 by in Uncategorized

This one is quite large.  A visual history of Search and what it took, who it took, to make it possible to find stuff on the web.  Starts in 1994 and goes on up to Google’s dominance.

    I noticed 3 grammar errors:

    “AlstaVista” should be “AltaVista”

“had distribution deals with syndicated” should be “had distribution deals which syndicated”

“trying to win marketshare tough data licensing deals” should be “trying to win marketshare through data licensing deals”

Love the wallstats, though. Keep up the great work!
